Take a spin around District 2 with Councilmember Kelsea Bond to start your fall! We'll check out existing bike infrastructure, give residents a chance to point out what we could improve, and connect riders, new and old, across the district!
This ride will be at a social pace (~8 mph) and will be no-drop. Make sure to bring a set of front and rear lights, hydrate beforehand, and do a quick A-B-C check before you set off to join us! Those newer to biking in groups but who feel comfortable riding on moderately busy city streets will feel comfortable on this fully paved ride. E-bikes and scooters are welcome! There is parking available near the community center, and the pre-ride meeting point will be the parking lot, which is loosely packed gravel with a ramp nearby. There are two bike racks on the north side of the community center.
