What is zoning and what does it have to do with affordability, mobility, and equity? 🤔
Right now, the city is discussing its first zoning code rewrite since the 1980's. Why does this matter? Zoning is a tool that allows localities to determine what can be built and where. Zoning decisions directly impact affordability across neighborhoods, walkability, transit access, and more.
Join us on Weds. October 28 at the Little 5 Points Community Center for a conversation with housing advocates and experts from organizations like Housing Justice League, Abundant Housing, and Partnership for Southern Equity about how we can use tools in our zoning tool box to build a more affordable Atlanta for the generations to come.
The Little 5 Points Community Center is just a 10 minute walk from the Inman Park MARTA station, and there is parking onsite as well as street parking.
Meet your Midtown neighbors at the monthly Midtown Neighbors Association Meeting! You can join in person or virtually to learn about the progress on projects that are important to the Midtown community.
